Weekly update, week 05
It is incredible but another week has flown by. I’ve been extremely busy this one since I’ve been working on my new EA. I’ve been yanking out code and got a new VPS at SWVPS.com for demo trading it. Currently 18 different demos running there, but I couldn’t really resist putting it live also, so it’s live on my Alpari UK and The Collective FX (CFX) accounts as of middle this week.
Alpari UK live account. Trades FAP Turbo, MegaDroid and my own EA.
So another week with minimal lot sizes for FAP Turbo. Still haven’t had time to try new ones so it is still default. Even thou it managed to loose some €21 in EURCHF, making the whole week negative for FAPT. MegaDroid managed to gain €33 and my own EA €18, so it was still a positive week with €41.01 in profits.
Forex.com/UK live account. Trades RoboMiner and MegaDroid.
This was a nice week for RoboMiner with movements in both AUDNZD and EURCHF. EURCHF dropped 200 pips in a minute closing five positions at once. MegaDroid also did well with closed profit for $83, even thou I stopped it from trading Wednesday and Thursday because of the news expected (NFP and others). Total gain was $178.60.

The huge jump is a $1000 deposit. It was quite a nice week going until Thursday when I enabled 2 trades at once in Forex Shocker (after the deposit) and it managed to hit two SL:s in USDCHF for losses of $70. So in total the gain over the week was still $14. I really like Forex Shocker on this account, it just keeps adding 4-5 pips here and there. It was the reason I added the $1000.

This is the first week I’ve traded this account. The bump in the beginning is the $147 monthly fee. Other than that this account really have been making some nice profits I think, enough so that I’ve added another $3500 that should hit the account next week and allow higher lotsizes. I do experience quite a lot of slippage in the pair traded by my own EA. Don’t know if it is temporary or not, but sure hope so. Instead of 18 pips profit I’ve been getting 15.6 in average. Total gain over the week for both MegaDroid and my own EA was $56.81.
So all in all a very good week, even with some SL:s hit here and there. Total gain over all accounts was $306. Next week I’ll have additional funds in the CFX account (it will be a $5000 account like the Forex.com/UK account). I’m also looking at two other brokers to fund with $5K accounts in the very near future. I am really increasing my commitment to automated forex trade right now, hopefully this isn’t a bad move
