Weekly update week 01

January 10th, 2010

The first week of the year was a very good one actually. If this continues I will be rich by the end of 2010. :)

Alpari UK live micro account

As usual FAP Turbo and MegaDroid was traded on this €-account. I traded USDCAD, USDCHF, EURGBP and EURCHF with FAP Turbo, but with the most risk in USDCAD and USDCHF. I had a very strange start of the week with trades opening in EURGBP outside of the working hours. I was lucky that they managed to close for just a few pips loss after 30 hours open in deep drawdown. After this I set 0.01 lots on EURGBP for the rest of the week just to observe if it would happen again, but it didn’t. Haven’t seen it before and not since Monday, so perhaps I’ll up the lot sizes a little again. MegaDroid wasn’t to active this week, but only produced winners when it traded. In total the account gained €138, a healthy 12.7% increase.

Forex.com/UK live account

This account is in deep drawdown now. RoboMiner have a lot of open positions in both AUDNZD and EURCHF, both pairs are in their outer ranges. I have about $1000 in free margin, probably will add a little more this week if there isn’t a reversal, just to keep it safe. MegaDroid only traded three times during the week on this account, but all were winners. Total gain was a meager $31.

JadeFX live account

Great week at JadeFX. FAP Turbo stood for a lot of the activity, even thou I only traded USDCAD and USDCHF. Forex Shocker and MegaDroid never really traded much at all with just 9 and 6 trades. All in all thou the account made $149, a gain of 30%. Truly impressive, but this is of course with a very high risk. Just one stoploss takes out between 20% and 35% depending on currency and EA.

So, a total for the week of $372 is very good in my book. Hopefully AUDNZD or EURCHF turns around and RoboMiner starts cashing in next week.
