Forex Bling live today

September 7th, 2009

Normally I really don’t pay attention to the, almost daily, releases of new EAs. There just have been too many that have been so disappointing lately (and I don’t think it is going to decrease either). However today there actually is a release that I kind of look forward to. I’ve for some time been looking at the Fractals 4 EA from Forex-hope.com. It is the fourth incarnation and it have proven it self in both backward and forward tests over the last few months (think it was released in June). I’ve been looking to buy it since it isn’t a scalper, but rather a break out system, but I haven’t had $199 from the EA budget to invest in it.

Today Forex hope releases a new product thou, called Forex Bling (I know, the name… yeah). It isn’t one EA, but a number of EAs that are meant to be traded together in a portfolio. There’s a scalper (actually four different, but they are probably based on the same code, that trade different pairs), a trend follower, a break out system and a grid trader. I’ve seen the affiliate report as well as some live MT4 stats and I must say that I am impressed. The Scalper(s) seem very good, definitely FAPT/MD class, perhaps even better. The others also are very impressive, but I think it isn’t real live, but rather demo trading. Still it looks very promising.

One of the things I like the most thou is that the package is offered as a subscription service costing $99 for three months. Considering that it, currently, comes with four different systems I would say this is very good. The facts that it is a subscription implies that they believe in the system, since they want people to keep paying for it. Also, they will be giving the first 100 sign-ups Fractals4 for free (it isn’t part of the package otherwise).

I’m going to sign-up today and start demos. In the mean time I’ve found these live stats pages, they are for the scalpers called ThunderStorm and ThunderBolt.

    Hey bud,

I’ve joined up with Bling through your affiliate link, so hopefully you make a bit of cash offa me. :) I threw up Freedom/Thunderbolt/Evolution on a JadeFX Demo, along with Megadroid Pro. Currently have a Freedom trade open that’s jumping all around, but is currently above $18 (and $32 about a minute ago, lol…). The Bling package seems VERY legitimate, and I do believe in these guys thus far.

I set my demo at $10,000 to somewhat mirror what my DukasCopy results would potentially be once my account gets approved. I plan on using Robominer on Dukas as well, seems like a very solid EA.

On another note, that EA that I sent you–my friend that started the whole thing found that if you set the pipstop at 1000, TP at 500, and SL at 50, it will usually suck for a week or two, but in the end, will return about 30-50% on your account per month! However, he strongly believes that if you can inverse the strategy, it’d bring in 2000-3000% per month. I’m going to be JadeFX demo’ing the above-listed strat meanwhile once he sends the EA over.

Man, wrote you a book there, sorry mate. :)

Much appreciated even thou I don’t expect it :)

I really think this little EA portfolio will be something good/great. Those Thunder* scalpers seem very nice and also Fractals4, which I hope you got also. I did. Unfortunately I never got the ID/Password to the members section yesterday, and still haven’t, so I’m not up and running yet.

I would really be careful with FAPT Evo and DukasCopy now Dan. It isn’t working out for lots of people as of 2-3 weeks now. Lots of rejected orders and huge slippage. The liquidity is, currently, too low to handle all the users in EURCHF and USDCAD. MD Pro via the Bridge seems to be working great thou, much more liquidity in EURUSD I think. If you go for it, be sure to use a VPS with very low latency against the trading servers, because basically only the first orders will be filled.

Well, here’s my one-day assessment so far. I hate Thunderbolt as a scalper. Hit S/L four times for about $105 each. Freedom, on the other hand, rocks. Ok Ok, one day isn’t enough for a fair trial, but I’m down $600 on my $10,000 demo as of this writing.

The Grid trader and the other scalper won’t be available until October, and Fractal hasn’t placed a trade yet.

I’ll definitely take your advice with FAPT Evo! I’m thinking of just running Megadroid Pro per your recommendation, and possibly Robominer for now until things are OK with FapTurbo Evo. I did read somewhere on the FAPT Evo forum though that the summer up until labor day are usually poor liquidity areas.

Not a good day for Thunderbolt then. Strange that the thunderbolt.mt4stats.com doesn’t have any losses yesterday (not even four trades). Might be that JadeFX and its ECN feed triggers more trades, which hopefully is positive if the hit ratio still is high. We’ll see thou.

RoboMiner is hard to run through the bridge I think since it uses different magicnumbers for each grid line. IE you need to have the bridge set to monitor 66 magicnumbers, just for AUDNZD. And then another 64 of you want to trade EURCHF. I think it is easier to just open a nice high leverage MT4 account somewhere (I use Forex.com/UK right now and will probably get another license for Alpari UK) for RoboMiner.

Not a good day at all, and it seems that Freedom’s TP may be too high, though I guess that’s the point with a breakout software. It’s been hit-and-miss…not sure what to think of the package but I’ll be starting over with a fresh demo account now that the new Thunderbolt is out. I guess it was trading awkward hours on demo, out of what it is designed to trade on.

I’m looking into Iamfx.com instead of DukasCopy, and am refunding FapTurbo Evo after hours of researching user feedback yesterday. I feel that regular FapTurbo on something like Iamfx or JadeFX will yield the same results, sans the liquidity issue caused by too many live Fapt Evo accounts. Plus, this way, I won’t have to throw $10K away into a brokerage!

    And, as you mentioned–Robominer! :0)

I’ve been too busy to start these EAs on demo as of yet. I really should try to find some time. Those non-scalper will probably need quite some time in demo before deciding to go live.

I’m still undecided about what to do with my FAPT Evo license… I don’t use it, but I don’t want to lose MD Pro (which I will if I refund I guess). It would be good to know what the price for MD Pro is going to be and when it will be available.

Well, my refund just went through today, so I’ll see if Megadroid Pro continues to work on my account. That was my one worry as well. I’m hoping that they merely duplicated my FapTurbo clickbank code into their own database, meaning if I refund FapTurbo, they wouldn’t know to delete my entry in the MD base.

The thunderbolt seems to have done well today trading microlots on my demo account. Went from $5000 to $5030. The Iamfx account seems to have gained a similar amount, but for some reason it’s saying I’m down 42 cents. I hit an $18 USDCHF Megadroid trade on that account, but not the JadeFx. Wonder if it’s some sort of bug…I should be in the positive $25.69.

As of now, leaning towards JadeFX as my broker over Iamfx, but I’ll need to test for a few weeks to get a truly good idea.
