Weekend update, Week 08

This was a great week. I was a bit afraid of the AUDNZD breaking into the 1.30 range, but it backed off and closed the week down at 1.28. Good news for my grid trader.

Alpari UK live account. Trades FAP Turbo, Megadroid and my own EA.

Quite slow progress on this account, but also no real losses. FAPT longterm strategy took a few hits thou. I’ll have to rethink that a bit I think. MegaDroid kept securing pips during the week without stop losses. Total gain €51.95.

Forex.com/UK live account. Trades MegaDroid and my own EA.

That bump in the middle is a $75 bonus I got. Other than that the account made $79.90 in total. MegaDroid stood for $22 of that, the rest was my own EA.

JadeFX live account. Trades MegaDroid and Forex Shocker.

You got to love a balance curve like the one above. Both Forex Shocker and MegaDroid had a great week at Jade, scalping away pips in a very nice tempo. All pairs really did very good with FS, but EURUSD stood for most of the profits because I trade it at 0.2 lots. Total gain was $226.17.

Last but not least, my newest account. I currently trade AUDNZD and EURCHF with my own grid trading EA here and I must say that it is working out nicely. MegaDroid is also on the account and this week it did all right, but I’m still behind with MD because of the SL:s hit last week. Total gain was $151.73.

All in all that was a great week. Very pleased with the performance of my JFX and CFX accounts. Jade is going to change liquidity provider in two weeks, which I find worrisome, but hopefully it will work out. They’re even moving the VPS to the new location of the trading server. On the positivt they promise better spreads and microlots, but of course we won’t know how good it will be until after a few weeks after the the transition. I will probably not trade live straight away.

Total gain over the week: $528.
