Weekly update, week 06
Last week started out rather bad with SL:s hit by MegaDroid on GMT+6 at basically all accounts on Monday. I probably shouldn’t have traded right after the NFP. I think I will make that a rule actually, no scalping the day before or after the NFP from here on. Lets check the curves out.
Alpari UK live. Trades FAPT, MegaDroid and my own EA.
Luckily the Alpari account missed the GMT+6 SL because it actually runs GMT+30 instead (which excludes trading on Mondays), so it was a rather uneventful week. Which is great when there’s still profits. I switched my own EA from trading AUDNZD to EURCHF on this account because of the huge swaps at this broker. Total gain was €81.10
Forex.com/UK live. Trades FAPT and my own EA.
This account took on $117 beating by the MD GMT+6 stop loss, and in no way did it recover after that. On the Thursday I replaced RoboMiner (that have been on this account for 6 months and still is a great EA) and replaced it with my own EA trading AUDNZD and EURCHF. Hopefully it will do at least as good. Total loss was $110.05.
Jade FX live. Trades MegaDroid and Forex Shocker.
Here the MD GMT+6 wasn’t the worst SL hit on the Monday actually, it was two SLs hit by Forex Shocker in EURGBP, each for $50. The MD SL was for $40 so it was quite a bump downwards in total. But after that the week was great, Forex Shocker really scalped away pips in all traded pairs. I like the ratio between TP and SL, at least on a low spread broker like Jade FX (on other brokers perhaps the TP is just a bit to low). Total loss was $13.10
The Collective FX. Traded MegaDroid and my own EA.
You can hardly see it anymore (with the $3500 deposit screwing up the graph), but this account also was hit by the MD GMT+6 SL on Monday. I actually stopped MD GMT+6 after that, so now this account only traded default MD. My own EA closed profit for $91 which made the total gain $77.38.
The week ended up positive, even thou it was a very bad start, with $67 gained. I won’t make any real adjustments for next week, just turning down risk on MD GMT+6 a bit.
